Blogger Break and sad news
I guys. My mother recently passed away. She was 67 years old and had brain cancer. Mu husband knew all of the people who have been working on her since she was diagnosed. He had worked with the doctors so he could tell me where they work best and all of the stats on them. She passed away yesterday night and nobody knew until this morning. I am one of 10 kids so we are all very sad. She was the perfect mother and the perfect grandmother. My father stayed in the hospital with her so much and was the perfect person to have on your side. I used to talk to her every day. My sisters and brothers are located all over the country ( sister #1 Hershey, sister #2 Charlotte, sister #3 St. Charles, sister #4 Savannah, Me Charleston, Brother #1 Hummelston, Brother #2 Charleston, Brother #3 San Fran, Brother #4 Denver, and brother #5 Naples) They all have kids and are all coming to the funeral. My mother lives in Charleston so we are very fortunate that we got to see her before she passed away. I will be taking a blogger break because my family will be in for 1 week so I would like to spend some time with them. I was thinking about having them all over for a cook-out sometime. They are all flying in a coming to my house tomorrow for a dinner then going to their hotels. Have a great week and I hope you monday morning was better than mine.

Neighborhood exercise
Tomorrow I begin with my kids exercise program in my garage. It is so fun to whip the kids into shape. The parents come and participate too. Well, this post was SO short and I am sorry for that. I have been having really boring days. Today I went to a puppy store and played with 2 puppies. I didn't buy one though. Honestly, I would love a puppy but I can't get one because I know I wouldn't want to deal with one! Do you have a puppy or pet? Any advice in case I do decide to get one?

Work Drive
We are the red and my husband's work is the green! You do the math. He travels for 22 minutes everyday to get to work. 44 minutes round trip. He rushes home just for football and family time. He crosses 3 bodies of water which is so fun to see when I come along. So many bridges!! I LOVE CHARLESTON!!!

Husband/Wife Effort
Football was so fun last night, the assistant coach ended up fore-fitting with his and his boy for the game. It turned into a husband wife effort. I have already ran 4 miles today and it is only 6:30 AM here. Have a great day and if your husband asks you to coach football... go.for.it!!!

off to coach football......
Here I am.... off.to.coach.football!
Sure I am a woman and I just said I am going to coach football. Practice starts at 5:30. We just happen to have a game today at 5:30, not a practice. Until the time of 5:30 when the game starts we need to practice. I am going to lead football until my husband can get out of work. Abigail will sit with her lap-top at the field and watch us practice and play. Sure, you are thinking about the assistant coach right now and thinking why he can't do practice. Simple answer, he doesn't get out of work until 5:30 either. He happens to a high school english teacher and he has a meeting after school for 3 hours. Well, wish me luck! Maybe it will even help out with the whole marathon training :)

Here is what you need to know about me
Some ask me, "where in Charleston are you all located?" It is a simple answer, "John's Island". It is not very populated at all. Over the years it is going to become less rural. There are a few restaurants, not chain restaurants but family owned restaurants. We have about a 5 minute drive to historical down-town Charleston, SC. We can cross over to Savannah at any time, and we do often.
We have a very small local dance school. Not a very big baseball association at all. We have a tackle and flag football association. My husband helps out with coaching baseball teams, in the spring. He coaches for majors, any age from 10-14. He is also the head coach for the middle school tackle football team.
Aside of my husband's sport development he is a doctor at The Kindred Hospital Of Charleston. He is an cardiologist there. He works 5 days a week, and on weekends he remains on call. When he does work he works from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It works our perfectly because middle school football is usually at 4:30-7:00. He goes to work straight to football which is very awkward because he wears his lab coat because he isn't aloud to leave it in a car because the bosses are scared it will get stolen.
We have a house right on John's Island and it is 3 stories tall. Our plan when we bring Wren home is to move Abigail up to the 3rd floor so she will have a floor to herself with her own bathroom, window seat, and bedroom. Wren will be on the 2nd floor with us having her own bedroom and bathroom as well, just non window seat. We have a very small basement which is used for office space. We each have our own place for a computer, and desk space. We recently bought Wren a computer, that officially mean she is coming. The desk area is my personal favorite part of the house. I have my mac down there, Michael has a mac lap-top down there, he finds being a doctor and all it is easiest to have a lap-top. Abigail has a mac lap-top too. Wren officially has one too.
Abigail has been very suspicious about here moving floors, and a new lap-top, and everything. We ended up telling her and she is very excited. Well, I was training for a marathon yesterday and I was running around in the backyard with Abigail and I pulled my groin muscle.
We have a very mini track in our backyard. If you run around the whole thing it measures 1/2 a mile. That means if I am training for a marathon I would have to run it 52 times. Abigail loves to run with me. She runs around our track 8 times with me each day.

Happy 9/11
Today is 9/11/10 a day nobody can ever forget. The first 9/11 happened in the year of 2001. I remember I had had Abigail and she was a 9 month old baby. She was born December 25, 2000. At that age it was easier to pick up and go whenever we wanted. I remember we were at the house in Fort Myers, Florida. We were just leaving the lake to go to Giant. We were going there just Abigail and I because hubby had to work. Anybody who has lost people on 9/11/01 you are in our thoughts and prayers today.

The wonders of adoption... settled!!!
Yes, we have decided that for our daughter, Abigail's christmas/birthday gift that she will get a new little sister from the united states! We have been looking and calling agencies all around. We are thinking about going to Dallas Texas to the adoption agency and going from there, to settle on who to adopt. We know it is going to be a little girl, I would prefer one closer to the age of 9 but younger than Abigail. Maybe even someone who is 8 so they could be close ages together. I could have a baby myself but at the age of 40, close to 41 by the time I have the baby.... Well, we wouldn't want to take any risks what so ever. I would like a little girl with no disabilities, but that is all a lot to ask for. If you have adopted (Jacki) where did you adopt from? I am not exactly sure how long I have been blogging here for but I know it hasn't been long at all. I was very happy when I got a few emails regarding adoption!! Thanks and if you have anything else to tell me please don't hesitate!

How does it feel?
I am 39, I will be 40 on October 14, 2010. I want to know how it feels? It feels great being 9, as my daughter tells me. I know that being 39 and running 2 miles a day is outstanding, but.... How does 40 feel? I feel young being 39 but 40 seems to take it a step further! Way to far!!! I don't know how it feels. My puppy tells me being 10 months is fun! Do you remember how it was growing up? More importantly how did it feel? I remember, but how did it feel to you?
